Are your products ethically sourced?

Bahay Living’s products are sourced from a variety of suppliers, both internationally and locally. We do not buy from Ali Baba or similar organisations for a number of reasons, but primarily because our focus and point of difference is on unique homewares from thoughtful, small-scale makers rather than mass produced items.

We partner with like-minded creators and businesses who act with care and consideration for people and the planet.

Are you a dropshipper?

No. Bahay Living has carefully selected, paid for, received and inspected all stock that we sell.

What are your shipping charges?

For orders $90 and above, shipping within Australia is free. For orders under $90 there is a $10 flat rate shipping charge. See our shipping policy HERE.

How will my purchase be shipped?

We use a combination of Australia Post and courier companies to ship items. Our large items are always shipped by courier due to Australia Post's size limitations.

Can I track my item?

When we fulfil your order, we will provide you with a tracking number so you can track the progress of the delivery. You can also reach out to us via the contact us page for a progress update.

How long does it take for you to fulfil my order?

We endeavour to ship your items within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after receipt of your order.

If there are likely to be any significant shipping delays, we will detail this in our homepage header banner and/or at checkout.

What if I don't like my item when it arrives or I'm not happy with it?

We offer change of mind returns, including refunds. Find our returns and refunds policy HERE 

What packaging do you use?

We take pride in consciously making better packaging choices. Our mailer bags are compostable and we use cardboard boxes and tissue wrap, which you can recycle.

For our packaging fill, we use eco bubble wrap (which is super strong but made of paper) and scrunched paper. We do occasionally receive incoming deliveries wrapped in plastic bubble wrap and if suitable, we will reuse this on outbound fragile items we send.

While we use water activated paper tape for sealing where possible, occasionally we do need to use some classic sticky tape, but we try to minimise this. Sticky tape should be removed from mailers before composting and boxes before recycling (paper tape is fine to leave on).

Occasionally we might post an item in a repurposed cardboard box, because we believe it’s best to reuse items before sending to recycling whenever possible.

Do your prices include GST?

We are not currently required to be registered for GST. When that time comes, our advertised prices will include GST.
